Happy 2018, babes! I hope you all have had an amazing start to the New Year and are ready to kick this year in the butt! I know I definitely am. I’m feeling extra motivated today and I’m so excited for what this year has in store.
In other news, I thought it would be a fun idea for my very first post of 2018 to be about my all time favorite beauty products that I use on the daily!
FOR THE SKIN
Herbivore Facial Oil: I actually got the above 3 facial oils as a gift and I can not speak more highly about this stuff! It’s a bit on the pricey side but I think it’s 100% worth it. It contains floral oils that hydrate your skin and really make it glow! I have EXTREMELY dry skin and this stuff really helps with that. It also helps with wrinkles… I know I’m 23 and that isn’t an issue but hey, better to use earlier than never, right?
Herbivore Botanicals Coco Rose Coconut Oil Body Polish: You. Guys. This stuff is a must! Like I said before, I have extremely dry skin and this stuff makes it feel so silky smooth and soft. Basically anything with coconut oil in it… I’m game.
Clinique Moisture Surge Intense Skin Fortifying Hydrator: If you’re looking for a fairly good priced and great working moisturizer… this one should be your go-to. I have been through so many different kinds of moisturizers I can’t even count and I have finally found the one that I seriously can’t live without!
L’Oreal Detox & Brighten Clay Mask: I’ve been suuuper in to face masks recently and I have completely fallen in love with this one by L’Oreal. It’s inexpensive and has so much to offer!
FOR THE FACE
Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Wear Hydrating Foundation: I used to be team Mac foundation all the way and then I decided to jump out of my comfort zone one day and try something new. This Smashbox foundation is incredible and lasts all day!
Mac Next To Nothing Pressed Powder: I may not be team Mac foundation anymore but I firmly believe I will be team Mac pressing powder forever. I haven’t found any other brand that I like more than this one!
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer: My all time favorite concealer and it’s only $9! Gotta love Maybelline.
NARS Blush – Orgasm: I’m not super big on blush and I only use a little bit on my face everyday but this is by far my favorite shade! So many people recommended this color to me.
Becca Cosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter: Oh, highlight! My FAVORITE piece of makeup. I buy the champagne pop shade and I think it’s the perfect color that really makes you sparkle.
Too Faced Natural Eye Neutral Eyeshadow Palette: I’m definitely a neutral girl when it comes to eye shadow. I NEVER, literally never, wear any other shade. Too Faced has always been one of my favorite makeup brands and they have been seriously killing it with the palette game recently.
Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner: I’ve been using this Maybelline eye dip gel ever since I started wearing makeup years ago. It seriously stays on for hours and I never have to reapply it throughout the day!
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara: Looking for a mascara that makes you feel like you have cat eyes? Look no further! & take this from the girl who has the world’s shortest eyelashes! Seriously, ask anyone.
Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix Setting Spray: If you’re looking for a setting spray that leaves your makeup looking like you just did it at the end of the day… this one is definitely for you.
FOR THE HAIR
Pravana The Perfect Blonde Shampoo: Being the wannabe blonde that I am since my natural hair is a medium brown color, I rely on purple shampoo to get rid of the brassiness. My hair dresser recommended this brand and it has made all the difference it my color’s tone! It’s also on the inexpensive side, which is an even bigger plus.
Pravana The Perfect Blonde Conditioner: Same as above. Definitely use the conditioner, too!
Carol’s Daughter Hair Milk Nourishing & Conditioning Refresher Spray: I bought this stuff at Target completely unaware of what it would do it to my hair and I absolutely LOVE it! I spray it on my hair every night after I take a take a shower and it really leaves it feeling silky smooth. It also gives my hair a little bit of a wave!
